Eufaula City Schools

The Alternative Learning Center serves students from Admiral Moorer Middle School (AMMS) and Eufaula High School (EHS) in HOPE Academy. HOPE Academy is designed for students who are behind at least one grade level. Students are accepted based on the HOPE Committee's recommendation. The HOPE Committee consists of district-level staff as well as staff from AMMS and EHS.

Alternative School is also housed in the Alternative Learning Center. Students are placed in the Alternative School upon being referred by school administrators and a recommendation from the Alternative School Committee. The Alternative School Committee consists of district-level staff as well as staff from each school.

Additionally, staff members from the Alternative Learning Center monitor the academic needs of students who are enrolled in Edgenuity. Edgenuity is an online learning option for students in grades 6-12.
